Shhhh....don't scare it away...

Could it be that fall has sneaked in on us??? (And yes, people 76 is considered "fall" when it's been 100+ every.single.day.) I know it's just wishful thinking on my part that this lovely breeze and low 50s at night will stick around. However, I'm choosing to celebrate it by breaking out my 3 most favorite things about fall.
1. Fall decor. I love me some autumn colors and fake leaves with pumpkins. Justin recently told me that my current wreath on the door was looking "pitiful" so I'm scouring Pinterest to see if I can find inspiration for a new fall one. September 1st is the official day I feel like I can pull out fall decorations and get away with it. They'll stay up until Christmas too. Can you tell I love this time of year?!?!

2. It may be number two on my list, but it's number 1 in my heart. Let's say it all together now...
FOOTBALL!
I love football season. Always have, always will. Specifically college football. Even more specifically, Texas Aggie football. I'm certain that God has a sense of humor because even though I prayed for years that I would not, I ended up marrying a guy that roots for Texas. In my family that's a no-no, but they love Justin so much they don't hold it against him. I will say that when we spend Thanksgiving Day with my family it can get a little bit tense, but both sides have a good sense of humor. And can we please mention how amazing the Ags looked against SMU last night??? No? None of you big football fans? Anyone have an opinion on them moving to the SEC? Just me? Hmmm...maybe I'll blog about more girly things like...

3. The "Leaves" candle from Bath & Body Works.
Ohmuhword. This is the best smelling candle. Ever. We literally count the days until Bath & Body Works puts out the fall candles so that we can stock up on these babies. Justin loves it so much that last year he declared that no other candle shall ever be burned in our house. When they're $20 a piece and only out for a limited time, that isn't realistic in my candle-loving home. However, I did snatch up two of these babies a few weeks ago, and we've been burning on ever sense. It is the joy of fall trapped in a little glass jar. That smell can make me so happy.

With all 3 of these things and a temperature not in the triple digits, I am choosing to declare that fall is creeping in. Yahoo. Now I'm off to enjoy day 3 of my fall-ish 3-day weekend!

Happy Labor Day, folks!
